About Mackenzie Gauger, D.P.T.

I graduated from The College of St. Scholastica with a doctoral degree in 2019. This is also where I did my undergraduate work. I have my certification for the LSVT Big Program for treatment of Parkinson’s disease. I am also certified in dry-needling. I am a general physical therapist and enjoy treating anything from orthopedic to neurologic conditions. With my certification in the LSVT Big Program, I have realized that I really enjoy working with neurologic conditions as it allows my creative side to come out to work on interventions specific to a patient’s daily tasks or surroundings. That being said, there are many times I have been able to do this with orthopedic conditions. I mostly just enjoy the variety of conditions and patients we see walk through our doors on a day to day basis. That’s the plus side of working in rural health care!
