“I chose to go into medicine to follow in my mother’s footsteps. I grew up hearing stories about her career as a psychiatric nurse. This gave me the desire to care for people and help them live healthy lifestyles. As someone who grew up in small-town Wisconsin, I wanted to return to a rural community to care for a population like the community where I grew up. We knew St. Croix Health would be perfect for me and my family after interacting with the people and the community while visiting the area.

As a family medicine physician, I enjoy the depth and breadth of all aspects of medicine. It is my goal to meet people where they are and build strong relationships by working together with patients to meet their health goals. Areas of special interest for me include preventative medicine, women’s health, obstetrics, and osteopathic manipulation. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and adventuring outside.”
