What are my risks for radiation from an X-ray?
We are exposed to radiation everyday through our natural environments. While an X-ray does expose you to small amounts of radiation, it is very minor, and the benefits of the test outweigh the risks for most people. However, if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, please tell your doctor and alternative testing may be recommended.
